Pieces Lost and Found

Pieces is a zine I created in fall 2024 about my recovery from a stroke I had earlier in that year.  It's about the erratic and non-linear process of recovery, and the small and large things that can be significant at each stage.

As pieces is and 8-page mini folded zine, it's structure of being printed all on one side of a sheet of paper allows it to be unfolded to reveal a larger image. Artistically, the stroke was totally devastating to me, since it affected my dominant hand, and even a year on from making this I've struggled to regain a fraction of my former productivity, while my former skills are still a distant mirage.
